Predominantly based in Cornwall, surrounded by a wealth of beautiful venues and stunning coastlines. I work and live with an open mind and a massive passion for providing the best possible makeup and service for my client. I can work on a mobile basis, delivering a quality service to all who sit in my makeup chair.
When I realised what magic could be done with makeup application there was no stopping me. My passion and creativity led me to attend an intensive makeup artistry course where I learnt an in depth knowledge of skin anatomy, makeup application, teaching application and specialised looks.
I am aware that as a client, you want makeup that looks flawless in your photos, but I am also conscious of creating a look that is flawless in real life too, without feeling too heavy. No matter whose make-up I am doing, what I truly love about my job is connecting with people and creating a look that’s right for them and the occasion. I love working in all sorts of situations, from a fashion photoshoot to a relaxed wedding. However, I must admit, I am such a romantic at heart and I do love the build-up of a wedding. It is a privilege to be a part of anyone’s special day and I pride myself on my personal, relaxed and professional approach. I strive to use some of the best products, so that your look is able to last throughout the day and into the night and also feel great on the skin. For me, I stick with brands and products that are cruelty free and paraben free, hence why I have invested in the brand I use now. Built within my bridal package you will also be given a little gift box with some of the makeup used on you for the general touch ups during the day, should you need it.
My career has allowed me to meet some amazing people, bride’s, event photographers, beautiful women who I’ve had the privilege to create stunning looks for and build relationships with. Makeup is a very personal service which I find truly rewarding.
It is not withstanding that as technologies and products change, I feel that it is important to keep abreast of current trends and to do that I follow many main brands blogs and social media sites. It can become a little overwhelming with so many new brands emerging that its hard to decide what to use. For that reason I also provide a personalised makeup lesson service, to enable you to achieve flawless makeup in everyday life or to prepare for special events, as well as a master class lesson for more specialised looks. I am certified in Advance Makeup Artistry VTCT, and I have also completed intensive training for lash and nail extensions in addition to a brow qualification.
